I have AT&T U-verse.....next month will be 1 year that I will be with them. Not once have they ever got my bill right. I have to call them every month to correct it. So much for a Billion dollar company!!
Can't get the math right!!
So as of the end of December....I'll try Roadrunner from TWC.

I can personally vouch for AT&T...in terms of it selling the worst consumer products & services in and out of the IT realm.
First, I had AT&T DSL. I was lucky to break 1.0 download speed, when it worked at all.
I wanted Wi-Fi in my home, and live streaming TV. I had to have a faster, more reliable form of service.
In search of something better, a paid liar at AT&T sales talked me into AT&T U-verse, and promised me with the fiber optics U-verse account I could enjoy speeds up 7.0 or more!
Lies!
She also said my neighborhood was equipped with fiber optics.
There isn't a fiber optics box within a mile of my house. The one a mile away projects about 3,000 feet from the box, leaving poor set-up schnooks like me back to the inefficiency of DSL, just with a higher monthly fee.
Today I am writing this with my brand new U-Verse speed-tested account-- blazing away at a download speed of 0.62!
If AT&T was a person I believe I would have shot him by now.
Come June 1, it's arrivaderchi to those liars and slimeballs.
A couple of squirrels on a treadmill could give me faster speeds than the dishonest crooks at AT&T.

P.S. Their cell phones suck just as bad.

I also went through the dilemma of finding the best ISP for speed and service. I've had both TWC and AT&T and was slightly less disappointed with AT&T (fiber to premise). Now, we use Clear wireless and are fairly happy with it. Download is normally around 6-10Mbs and up is fairly consistent at 1Mbs. Not bad for $30 per month. Clear's customer service has vastly improved over the last 12 months as well. It helps greatly that we live within 1/4 mile of the cell tower too.

When considering these reviews, be mindful of the dates that they were submitted.

I'm suprised none of the above listed mentioned anything about "upload speeds". TWC, in my opinion, has a terrible uploading speed as when I speed test it usually meets up at around 512kb/s. I do not believe AT&T offers much more of a deal but personally I wish some better internet were available here. TWC/ATT have this place monopolized.

In hindsight I should have listed the stores but since I did not divulge the exact reason as to the fact I would be posting their information on the internet I didn't want to list their stores or names. I did go out of my way to keep them anonymous. I however did it a little differently for the Houston report as I realized that people would probably be interested just like you that this is a genuine survey and not an attempt by a shell company of one of the broadband companies trying to make their product look better then it really is.

I no longer have their names and store names as it was just a casual call and get their information quickly type of thing.

What were the names of these stores? Who did you speak to? It's all so anonymous - it sounds like you're making it up.
