Looking For A Fast Remote Internet Connection?

Compare Wireless Aircard service
We have seen in most locations that the choice right now is between Verizon wireless internet service and Sprint. Both provide different aircards to connect up wireless that have their own cell phone number used to connect. The type of aircards you can get are a standard PCMCIA card or Express card that fits in a laptop slot or you can get a USB aircard. With the USB aircard you can connect it into your laptop or dekstop computer but the PCMCIA card and Express cards generally gets better reception for some reason. The Wireless PC Card is a great choice as you can cancel any broadband service you have at home and just use this which also gives you the option of going remote with it to Barnes and Nobles or Starbucks simply by inserting the card in your laptop. When browsing the internet in your car be carefull! If you live in the boonies you will find that a wireless aircard is usually faster and more reliable then satellite internet service. We definitely recommend going with an aircard.

How to Begin Aircard Comparison Search?

If you are ready to begin your search for the best available wireless internet pc card online discount offer then visit this site: Website I recommend choosing the PCMCIA PC Card or the more advanced Express Card with Sprint or Verizon. If you have an old laptop that can only take a PCMCIA card then the Express card usually comes with an adapter to make it double as a PCMCIA card as well. Currently Verizon’s wireless PC Card internet service dwarf’s the speed of AT&T. Sprint has a great coverage area in some of the more remote areas of the country. Check out and search what wireless internet provider supports your area by using this coverage area map locator. Click Here to Check Your Coverage area. You can pick between Sprint and Verizon, we do not recommend AT&T at this time as their speeds do not come close to matching the wireless internet speeds of Verizon. Sprint wireless PC card internet service has better coverage in certain remote areas and gives you more bang for the buck if you go over the 5 gigabyte download limit.

Aircard Service, Who I Recommend

If I could recommend the fastest wireless internet provider I would go with Verizon. You can get special deals on Verizon wireless aircards and compare with other wireless aircards at this site: 3G Store. If you need good coverage area across your state as well as the United States and decent speeds which are constantly improving then I would go with Sprint. You can compare their prices and options at this site: Sprint PC Card Internet Service

My laptop has WiFi. Do I need a laptop card?

With WiFi, you need to be within the limited range of a WiFi “hot spot” or access point. A laptop card and data plan from your wireless carrier let you access the Internet at high speeds from anywhere in the country where your carrier provides coverage – indoors, outdoors, or even on the road. With the Sprint and Verizon PC Card internet cards you can connect at faster speeds then satellite internet providers like Hughes internet and Wildblue offer. We want to warn anyone considering signing up with a satellite internet provider to think again.

It has been reported multiple times on the internet and by even our own neighbors and friends that the internet goes down frequently with satellite, the speeds are not as advertised and the 2 year contract allows for them to reduce your internet speeds if you start downloading too much. PC card internet service is much faster and you can take the internet with you where ever you happen to be.

Verizon wireless will give you the usb wireless aircard express card or PCMCIA aircard for free provided you sign a contract but I would highly recommend getting the express card or pcmcia card if you have a laptop as you will get better reception.

We have a site below to compare and sign up for discount wireless aircard service from all the major brands. This site is by far the authority source for everything you will need to setup a reliable and fast PC card/aircard wireless internet service. They have routers for the PC cards to broadcast the signal to all computers in a house, antennas to pick up a better signal and amplifiers to boost the signal if you stick the antenna up on your roof or TV antenna. The router and anntena is not required but it helps to broadcast the signal to other computers. If you do not get the wireless internet router you will only be able to access the internet on one computer at a time.

Buy an Aircard Router to Broadcast to all Home Computers

After you sign up for aircard service you may want to order a CradlePoint router (CradlePoint is the preferred choice) or linksys router for your Verizon, Sprint or AT&T aircard service depending on the provider you go with. You can purchase these affordably at 3G Store Simply go to PC Card Router

You can then put the Express card or PCMCIA aircard in the router and broadcast the signal to all computers in your house. Buying a router is not required to have PC card internet service but it will allow all computers in the house to access the internet at the same time, otherwise you will need to take the card out when done and put it in the other computer to gain access on a different computer. When you are taking your laptop on the road you can take it out of the router and put it in the laptop to go remote with it while on a vacation or business trip.

Should I get the USB Wireless PC Card?

This is a USB connection and not recommended as the Express Cards and PCMCIA cards will get better reception. If you live in a rural area and need a reliable connection I would go with an Express card or PCMCIA aircard as not only will the reception be better but you can plug it into a Cradlepoint (Preferred Choice) or linksys router and broadcast the signal throughout the house to more then one computer.

Can I use 2 different aircards for the same broadband service on 2 different laptops. I have 2 laptops @ 2 different locations and don’t want to transport aircard to each location. Can i have 2 aircards & work off the same service.

Most providers are not going to allow you to use two aircards even though it is for the same service. They will want you to buy another service plan for the additional card. What I recommend doing is buying a cradlepoint router and just plug your aircard into it. You can take the router with you wherever you go and plug it into an electric outlet. This will allow you to have a wireless hotspot multiple computers and users can have access to. You can buy the router here which is the same one I use at my home: Cradlepoint Router

I agree that having the ability to have two aircards on the same service should be an option but I have not found a provider who will do it. In the same way I know of no cell phone companies that will let you run the same cell phone coverage on more then one phone without upgrading your service and giving you two separate numbers.
