I have suddenlink, at first I was getting blazing fast downloads, in the 16mb range, now its dropped down to 6mb. Whats the fastest net service suddenlink offers anyway?

I am the admin of the site and decided to sign up for Suddenlink broadband internet to see if it was any good. The commercials with the funny comedian guy peaked my attention and I even called in to the support desk to see if he was available to sell me on the service but I guess he is too busy eating his fancy foods and hanging out with movie stars to tell just why I should sign up with Suddenlink broadband internet.

So far I have been on it for about a month and I am not very impressed. I am on the slowest option and am just doing basic internet tasks. I don't really download a lot or play internet games but even when pulling up sites I seem to experience a lag. I just upgraded for this Monday for the faster 8 Meg service. I hope to report back with the difference the upgrade has made. Hopefully I will be able to accomplish my work a little faster and without issue.

Pretty sweet John. I paid for 8 mb dl speeds and get 4 to 5 on average! Instant and random disconnects, lag on online games. I recently cut my dl speed to 1 mb dl. I can still play video games with the same lag for a cheaper price! You rock severedlink!

I use Suddenlink here in Tyler, TX, for my broadband provider, and I have never been disappointed. It is up 99.9% of the time, and the speeds are awesome. I am paying for 4Mbps, and on several Internet-based speed tests, I am always at about 8Mbps (those are download speeds, of course). Add to that the convenience of billing included with my cable statement, and Suddenlink broadband is the way to go!
