I also have used timewarner cable for my highspeed internet service for many years. And yes, when comcast took over everything has gone down hill. No one knows what they're doing or saying. And when you ask for a customer service supervisor they say they don't even have a customer service dept. They won't take complaints over the phone either. and IF supervisors return calls they do it at midnight!!! DSL is NOT available in my area of town. Do I have any other highspeed internet options?? Verizon has a usb thingy but it will only work on 1 of our computers due to computer/ o/s age.
Can anyone help me?
Frustrated in South Houston,

I used TimeWarner Cable for several years with out any trouble. Ever since Comcast took over, my internet has gone down and stayed down for weeks at a time. It's the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm looking at other alternatives now but I do NOT recommend Comcast to anyone!

Thanks for the comprehensive list of broadband internet service providers in Houston. I called all of them and got the terms and agreements for the different plans. I think I am going to go with ATT broadband.
